  •  Understand why adolescence is a vulnerable time in terms of developing mental health difficulties.

What are the course outcomes?

Participants will be able to:

  • To explore what positive mental health and wellbeing might look liked in an adolescent.
  • Understand why adolescence is a vulnerable time in terms of developing mental health difficulties.
  • Develop an understanding of the complex causes of mental ill health and the many factors that can contribute to eh emergency of mental ill health.
  • Understand the different mental health conditions that can emerge in young people.
  • Explore how positive, supportive relationships can promote wellbeing.
  • Explore ways to hold and support parents and caregivers where young people have mental health difficulties.
