  • Challenging – habitual behaviour ‘patterns’ – rules, generalisations, beliefs, perceptions
  • Directing the person’s attention to where it needs to be
  • Helping people find their own reasons for doing things – positive motivation
  • Getting the person to bypass barriers to success including disconnecting from ‘feelings’ and their story
  • Moving through time zones – past to future
  • Productive feedback – what and why technique – being complete – avoiding judgement, control or ‘fixing it for them’
